Class today was at Cape Disappointment State Park. Cape D as we call it.
Down at the end of the Peninsula- just inside the Columbia River Bar - on the north side.
We have TWO Lighthouses. Today's lecture covered Cape Disappointment Lighthouse (1856), North Head Lighthouse (1898), the 1st order Fresnel Lens, a bit about military history, Coast Guard, and so much more that it deserves it's own blog post.
